Learning

SPCA offers one of the best phonetic learning to read programs available in the United States.

It is called the “ABC’s of ACE”. Over the past 45 years of operation, it has proven effective in achieving it's purpose, (teaching children to read).

Our dual credit program coordinates with Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph; Northwest State University, Maryville; and Trenton State College, Trenton.

This has given our high school students an amazing boost in preparing for college, enabling them to enter college with college credits toward their degree goals.

For the past 45 years South Park Christian Academy has used Accelerated Christian Education curriculum for grades K through eight. It is also used for math and science in the high school. The high school also receives teaching through varied means. However all curriculum stresses individualized attention for each student with one-on-one help as needed. The ACE curriculum has proven its effectiveness as our graduates have excelled in their university studies.”

Sports

Our Sports program varies, depending on interest of the students.

We do offer basketball for boys and girls of middle school and high school age.

Biblical Training

Biblical training is a vital part of the students education. This is why we require all students to regularly attend church.

The high school students are graded on the reports they turn in from their weekly church attendance.

The atmosphere is one of learning with every effort made to make the student feel loved and accepted.

Bullying is NOT allowed!

School Sessions

Clase de arte

School is in session four days per week: Monday through Thursday from 8:45-3:00 p.m. on those days.

The school year is broken down into four quarters with progress reports given quarterly.

Attendance and punctuality is vital so the student does not miss any assignments or activities.

Regular legal holidays are observed as well as a Christmas break and a Spring break. There are field trips throughout the year, some educational, some just for fun.
